IoT Concept Powered by AI

Nish Tech Xface is an AI-powered IoT concept for effective customer engagement. It integrates facial recognition software with the Sitecore Digital Experience Platform, making Xface a versatile and cost-efficient solution for any brand that wants to explore its bricks-and-clicks potential.

The concept works by channeling data from facial recognition software to Sitecore’s Experience Database (xDB) feature through the xConnect API framework. Using machine learning, xDB delivers real-time insights about each customer that can then translate into personalized experiences via IoT applications.

Xface Bookstore

We developed a proof-of-concept which was presented at Sitecore Symposium 2019 in Orlando, Florida. Part of this concept used facial scans to recognize an existing customer and generate product recommendations based upon the customer's profile and purchase history. The concept is the same as content personalization using Sitecore DXP, but it is transferrable to a physical storefront.
