Our Thoughts on: Technology

Sitecore IoT Hub
  • Imagine you’re a retailer that sells widgets (or maybe you actually are one). You sell a special line of widgets that have lots of useful features, but they’re packaged in small boxes so there isn’t enough room on the label to list them all. With the Nish Tech IoT Hub you can set up a personalized shopping experience driven by the power of Sitecore.

Privacy Concerns with Face Recognition Technologies
Rodrigo Peplau

Recently I had the honor to speak at the SUGCON Europe 2019. My presentation, entitled "Face Recognition and Personalization: Data-driven Marketing in a Brick and Click Store", had an amazingly engaged audience, presenting several questions during the Q&A.

The most recurring questions are about privacy concerns in the light of GDPR and other similar regulations, so I decided to write this blog post to consolidate what I've been researching on this subject.

Send E-mail Action for Sitecore Forms
Rodrigo Peplau

Sitecore 9 introduces an exciting new Forms System (see official documentation here). However, it lacks a feature that is widely used at most forms: a Send E-mail Action. WFFM does have an OOTB action, so this is really an important feature to implement. To fill this gap, Nish Tech implemented a custom Send E-mail Action for Sitecore 9 Forms. Staying Organized with Jira JQL
Josh Ketchum

I don't know about you, but a lot of times, I wind up on more projects than one.   Whenever that happens, I like to list out the tasks I need to do according to the projects, and the order I want to do them in, and little "progress points" in my One Note before I got started for the day.   This helped me keep my own self on task and make sure I do not do the unthinkable and forget a task on "my own plate."
