Sweaty Bands Unveils E-Commerce Site Developed by Nish Tech
Cincinnati, OH – Nish Tech, Inc., an enterprise technology and digital agency that specializes in Content Management Solutions and Custom web solutions, has worked with another local company, Sweaty Bands, to successfully complete the redesign of their website www.sweatybands.com. The two Cincinnati companies used Sitecore’s Content Management System to rebuild the Sweaty Bands website’s E-Commerce approach. Simplicity in navigation, expanded product features, and the ability to track customers’ movements allows Sweaty Bands to provide a better experience for their users. This enhanced interaction with online clients will surely help with their continued growth and customer satisfaction.
The new site also features functionality that allows customers to create their own personalized custom Sweaty Bands. This added utility enables the use of different patterns, backgrounds, personal images, and text with many types of fonts, colors, and just about every customization you can think of! The site also features a new and improved Hot Looks section, which keeps the company in close contact with customers, allowing them to upload their favorite photos. Users vote on submitted images, and each month a winner is chosen to receive a free 6-pack of Sweaty Bands. The E-Commerce portion of the site is also connected to Microsoft’s Dynamics GP, a backend ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool that allows administrators to manage business functions, bringing the people and systems of a business together to work more efficiently and effectively.

Sweaty Bands is a company that was launched in 2007, getting its start when the founder, Donna Browning, decided that she needed a better headband than the weak, uncomfortable bands she bought at drug stores. She taught herself how to sew and used her new skills to create a band with a colorful ribbon on the top, velvet on the underside, and elastic on the back.
